Since 1978, Barry Springer has represented the interests of individual, small business, corporate, institutional, and public clients throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin at the trial and appellate court levels. Mr. Springer possesses a high level of knowledge in eminent domain, collections, real estate law, probate, and corporate and business services. His thorough comprehension of the eminent domain process has been sought out for consultation on matters as far away as New York State, South Dakota, Florida and California.

Mr. Springer has been a frequently published author of eminent domain articles that have appeared in such legal, trade, and consumer publications as the Chicago Law Bulletin, Chicago Industrial Properties, and the Chicago Sun-Times. He has also been a featured speaker, addressing various bar associations and professional real estate and property-owner groups on such topics as land acquisition and tax increment financing (TIF).

Mr. Springer has served as the Special Land Acquisition Counsel to the Villages of Rosemont, Mount Prospect, Bartlett, Niles, River Forest, and Hanover Park (all in Illinois), the City of Evanston (Illinois), and the Schaumburg (Illinois) Park District.
